Chickpea Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites
Equipment
- Cuisinart food processor
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chickpeas rinsed if in a can, or cook your own
- .5 cup nut or seed butter of choice You can also make your own by simply processing nuts in your food processor. I used a combo of almond, walnut, and hempseed.
- 2 Medjool dates pits removed
- .25 c maple syrup
- .5 tsp salt
- .5 cup chocolate chips cocoa nibs can be used for less sugar
- maldon salt for garnish salt as a garnish will put these over the top as delicious
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to food processor and blend till smooth
- chill in fridge for 20 minutes
- Roll dough into cookie dough bites and refridgerate them until you eat them. They can also be frozen.
- If you want to turn this dough into baked cookies you can simply add 1/4 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp baking soda to the dough when in the food processor, and bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
